I was working at Walden Books in Golden Ring Mall pre ConStellation and
during that time helped open the Waldens at White Marsh and Hunt
Valley.

Hunt Valley Mall was one mall too many in the region, what with Owings
millsand White Marsh. It rarely had 100% occupancy. It was a great
place to shop during Christmas, since sales clerks would fawn over you,
there being so few customers.

The redevelopment of the mall is essentially tear down most of it and
turn it into a "Towne Center" concept.

I guessone prroblem with the mall some 20+ yearsago was that it was
like Oakland: "there isn't any there there". The first hit for a
google of "Hunt Valley Mall" saysit all.
