It'd make a nice small relaxcon, if the site was right, the weather
cooperated, and the food was good.

There are a few left, I'm sure. It'd be a sad day when the last one was
torn down. I worked (and lived in the screen of) the old Harbor in San Diego
years ago.

No, a curse. Something always happens to prevent me from making it to
Worldcon, ranging from suddenly having vacation cancelled through illnesses to
expensive car breakdowns on the road. The Iguanacon trip, in fact, ended in a
rather spectacular wreck outside Gila Bend. An old friend once suggested that
if they held the Worldcon right next door to me, I'd be struck by a
deorbiting satellite if I tried to cross the property line. I'm not entirely sure
she's wrong.
