At Lunacon there was a panel on/about Jack Chalker.  I believe it was
Andy Porter who pointed out that in Jack's passion for "collecting"
ferries (Jack & Eva were married on one), for the 1995 (?) Worldcon Jack
and family drove to Newfoundland, took a ferry to Greenland, then a
ferry to Iceland.... you get the picture.
