Exactly. I'm using it strictly to post standard publicity information. The way LJ uses Keyords, interests, and locations, means that if somebody is looking to see who else has an interest in Howard Waldrop, the LJ shows up. People who would never think to google on conventions or the like are able to find out it exists.

I think that closer to the event, I might use it as a pointer, in the "Check out Capclave- Come to my party" sense.
