I think a Y-Wing might be a more feasible project, for several  reasons.  You
wouldn't need extended front forks, the core fuselage is  more-or-less
trike-shaped to begin with, and it's not as wide.  There was a  trike on the road a
while back that had an old-trek Enterprise hull built around  it, this
wouldn't be that much larger.
