The Piers Anthony Xanth Cookbook where all the ingredients are puns and
other fun word games?

The Isaac Asimov Cookbook where those recipies calling for resublimated
thiotimoline are done well before you begin working on them?

The Robert Heinlein Cookbook where you start from scratch, building a
kitchen, growing the vegetables, mining the ore and smelting then smithing
it into utensils and then calculating the cooking times as a function of
the length of the guest list and appetite level while taking into account
the local barometric pressure? (Specialization is for insects!)
