Bears Discover Fire is his best collection. Is, "They're made of meat" in
there? Possibly his best bit.

Ah yes, Jesus...and the missing years. John Prine wrote a song by that title
that was pretty interesting. If Christians can't take a joke...they're not
really Christians.

I just finished the Terry Bisson short story
collection "Bear Discover Fire."  It was very good.
Also, I'm currently reading "Lamb" by Christopher
Moore, which is very funny.  However, I could see
where some Christians might find the gospel of Jesus's
chilhood and teen years as told by his best friend
Biff not all that funny, if not blasphemous.
