Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at WSFA.org> It would take an effort, wouldn't it. There are a dozen or so major Trek websites that might be recruited to ask their viewers to contact local television stations and to start sending emails in every direction. (Don't break the chain or a Chinese satellite might land on you.) If we could achieve a truly well-publicized Hugo it would be great for science fiction in general and for the clubs in particular (as well as being a gentle nudge in the direction of Paramount). Interestingly, Slanted Fedora Entertainment, one of the major Star Trek convention operators just went belly up due to falling attendance since 9/11. Any such loss of interest is not likely to be missed by the studios whose actors take part in the conventions. --Tom Haughey Michael Pederson wrote: >Is there such a thing as a "well-publicized Hugo"? > >Michael D.
