I believe that the WB is quite happy with Smallville's
ratings (which are better than Enterprise).  The
series has had its ups and downs.  I think the writing
was better on the first couple of seasons, but there
have been some good episodes this season.

Wednesday night has been relatively busy for my VCR
with Smallville and Jack and Bobby on the WB; Lost,
Alias and Eyes on ABC; and The West Wing on NBC.  The
West Wing at times is almost a fantasy - of course you
could also put it as alternate history.  Jack and
Bobby has some future history in it.
