CONNIE WILLIS, AWARD WINNING AUTHOR OF PASSAGE AND TO SAY NOTHING OF
THE DOG, IS THE GUEST ON THE APRIL EPISODE OF FAST FORWARD.
Writer Connie Willis is interviewed on this month's episode of Fast
Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction. Willis talks about her recent
books, as well as her fondness for Jerome K. Jerome's famous comedy,
Three Men in a Boat.
In conversation with host Mike Zipser Willis discusses her views on
comedy, her fascination with history and research, and the special
challenges of writing a novel about near-death experiences and life

The April episode of Fast Forward also features a Colleen Cahill book
review. This month she talks about the Walter Miller and Frederick
Paul Walter annotated English translation of Jules Verne's 20,000
Leagues Under the Sea.

series Sugar: A Little Snow Fairy for anime fans of all ages.
In addition, there is a short segment in memory of author Andre
Norton, who passed away in March.
Fast Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction is a monthly half-hour
television series about the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and
horror. Fast Forward is produced by D.G. Productions through the
facilities of Arlington Independent Media in Arlington, Virginia.
The show has been in production since 1989 and can be viewed on cable
