"Fruitbat" is a great term! Whenever you use it I get three images trying
to crowd into my brain at once: a big "nerf banana", someone swatting at a
tree of edibles with a club and a large flying rodent...I suspect that all
three are appropriate for one expert or another... :-)

The Post prefers to do their hatchet jobs on the NRA...or any other
pro-rights, pro-constitution, pro-common sense organization. On the other
hand no matter how loony your group is, if you fit the Post's ideas about
political correctness, you can do no wrong. I stopped subscribing to the
Post back when they did the hatchet job on the Maryland referendum to
repeal the handgun ban...I got a copy of the actual legislation and
compared it to what the Post was saying about it and there was no
resemblance whatsoever.
