What you mean "we" white man?  Speak for yourself (if you like).  I wasn't
there, and neither were my ancestors.  The first in my family who got here
did so in the 1890s, long after most of the events under discussion.

The tendency to blame evey member of a race for the actions of some members
of that race has a name...

I'm not sure if the tendency to pretend that only some ethnic groups on
this planet engaged in things like genocide, slavery, territory acquisition
over the objections of the prior residents, etc. has a name though, but
it's common enough that it probably should.  There isn't anyone who has the
moral high ground on that stuff if you lump them in with their ancestors
(the ones who actually did that stuff) and very few who don't if you look
at what the individuals today are actually responsible for.
