Your Exile series was science fiction that read like fantasy and your Galactic Milieu series was science fiction with a central mystery. Did you consciously try to break down genre barriers? If so why? You wrote Black Trillium as a collaboration with Andre Norton and Marion Zimmer Bradley, but each of you wrote separate sequels. What was it like working with both these late authors? Why were the sequels all done separately? Your Rampart Worlds books seem much more traditional space opera than your Exile series or even Milieu. Was that done deliberately or does your style reflect your subject? You write both fantasy and science fiction. Which do you prefer? Do you approach writing a fantasy book in the same way as you do a science fiction book? At 11:42 PM 4/25/2005, you wrote: >Rich, > >That's a good angle too.
