The series was Firefly and I think FOX gave it the
Friday night slot that Dark Angel was supposed to be
in. Then FOX completely mangled the showing of the
series.  The DVD set of the complete TV series is very
nice.  It makes a lot more sense when the episodes are
shown in their correct order.
