Seen on ebay last year: a company selling used 727 airliners mounted on
rotating CG pylons, and fitted out as homes inside, with the wing tops serving as
patios. The aircraft is free to point into the wind, and a sliding stair
arrangement gives access. Quite a nifty idea, likely not "hurricane proof",
but would probably handle a minor tropical storm.
