We (Tamar and I) registered on the NDNC list a year ago and we are still getting calls from cable installers, roof repairers, insurance salesmen, loan arrangers,. Of course we also get calls from political and charitable "fund raisers", who wangled exemption from NDNC, but they all stop when they get: "This number does not accept telephone solicitation." I've heard that there's a procedure for getting the violators fined or at least scolded, but I know nothing about its effectiveness. -- Dick Eney
