Thanks for the correction.  When I was reading his stuff around 1970, in
the "New Wave" period, I remembered reading a comment by Isaac about him.
Something like, "If we'd known what he'd turn into we'd have drowned him at
his first convention," and something about that being at age 16.  I guess
that left the impression that the time in question was recent.
