I  was looking at the Baen web site and saw  a future book
"Retief's Peace" by William H. Keith Jr.   Keith Laumer
wrote the Retief stories.  Whats going on?
    I have rarely seen a series continued by a new author
that was any good.  The better the original series the
worse the sequel.  The best example is the "Miss Seeton"
mystery series by Heron Carvic.  Some books were written
with that name by Hamilton Crane, but they were utter
trash.
