From: "Jamie S. Jonker" <jamie at capitolcollectibles.com> Date: Tue, 17 May 2005 22:01:33 -0400 Dear Keith, I thought the Washington DC Comic-Con might be of interest to members of the Washington Science Fiction Association. One of the guest of the show is Conrad Brooks. Conrad Brooks, a Baltimore native, has appeared in over 200 movies and has been called \223the King of B movies\224. He started his career appearing in many Ed Wood movies including Plan 9 from Outer Space and Glen or Glenda. Brooks has also written and directed numerous movies including the Jan-Gel series. His latest movie, It Came from Trafalgar was released in March. If you think it might be, please share the information as you deem appropriate. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you, Jamie Jonker Washington DC Comic-Con Sunday May 29 10 am - 5 pm Marriott Metro Center Grand Ballroom 775 12th St, NW Washington, DC Special Guests: Rich Buckler, John K. Snyder III, Conrad Brooks, Matt Cail, Bruce Lindsay, JM Guinn, Madison Underground Press ... and more! Platinum, gold, silver, bronze and modern age comic books; toys; t-shirts; DVD's; original art; and much more. For more info: jamie at capitolcollectibles.com or www.capitolcollectibles.com or 202-425-3362. If there wasn't another con that weekend, I'd consider going, if I was into comics, bad movies, an actor who was ignored when he had a table at Balticon, and other people whom I've never heard of.
