That backdrop was made up of individual paintings by Morris Scott Dollens.
During the convention they were auctioned off.  I bought several.  The
prices were not high.

I was there.  I was 17.  I was not the youngest, although maybe I was *one*
of the youngest.  Most of the shots don't show the fans of the time, but
show various pros.  But http://fanac.org/worldcon/Clevention/w55-100.html
shows three "7th Fandom" fans of the era, including my buddy (and fellow
WSFAn) John Magnus.  I went to the convention with John, in his car.
Started my senior year in high school three days late in direct
consequence....
