I see absolutely no point in political argument with someone whose basic premises are widely at variance with my own. There is insufficient common ground for genuine communication. It is interesting to see that Mike took my statement that I was withdrawing from this "discussion" as "you've decided to make this personal," but in fact that is at best a diversion.
