When I was 5 my dad (6'3") was on the USS Bluegill, and I got to go on
board for the Christmas party.  I still remember him going through the
hatches...they were about right for me at the time, but he went through
kind of like someone goes over hurdles...leg out, head tucked low.  He made
it look easy, but I'm sure it took some practice.
