Any suggestions for low calorie, low fat, low
carbohydrate methods of dealing with a lot of
strawberries? I went to the farmer's market last week
determined to make the most of the last of the strawberry
season.
I now have 2 1/2 quarts of strawberries that should be
finished off this week. I've had strawberry and yogurt,
strawberries and milk on cereal, and plan to do strawberry
lemonade.
I've seen strawberry chutney recipes.
Most strawberry recipes seem too high in calories, or
fat or carbohydrates or all three. Think about strawberry
shortcake -- it has flour, sugar, fat and whipped cream.
Definately contraindicated on a diet.
Thanks;
Madeleine
