There are witnesses here as well as an archive...your remarks can be
checked if there's a question about who said what when.

You started the personal comments in the last interaction, just like you
did in this one.  As is the rule here, I've kept my comments to the subject
matter...except when you've started making personal comments about me.  You
can call your insults "whimsy" if you like, but they are still personal
attacks as they are derogatory comments about me, not about my points or
ideas.  You might not have realized that they were insulting before you
made them, but you should have been aware of that after the first
time...yet you did it again.  Why is that?

You got the chronology backwards there...and I haven't made any statements
about your professional activities, since I don't know anything about them
other than that you've worked as an editor.  I don't know that I've ever
read anything that you've edited.  My comments have been about your
activities on this list, and after your insults, what those may say about
you and your capabilities.
