The Cosmos folks have apparently picked up weak signals from the  spacecraft,
indicating it might be in the wrong orbit and the ground antennae  are
pointed the wrong direction.  On the other hand, ITAR-Tass reports the  booster
crashed into the Barents sea after launch.  Take your pick.

Maybe there's a reason old Russian SLBMs aren't more commonly used for
satellite launches, huh.
