It's that critical mass thing. Once enough people you know are getting the book on release day, you have to as well, because they are insufferable and can talk of nothing else. With a first printing of 10.8 million copies, I'm going to say the resale market for a "first edition" of this book may not be that strong. My intent is to use my Potter Hardbacks, as well as Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell to keep my headboared up. I figure once read, I shall use them like the bricks they are. Elizabeth. Who admittedly also wants to skim through and find out who dies, so she can threaten massive spoilers upon the head of those who annoy her. "Stop that or I tell you who dies!"
