JONATHAN LETHEM, AUTHOR OF THE ESSAY COLLECTION THE DISAPPOINTMENT
ARTIST, IS THE GUEST ON THE JULY EPISODE OF FAST FORWARD.
Writer Jonathan Lethem is interviewed on this month's episode of Fast
Forward: Contemporary Science Fiction. Lethem discusses his recent
collection of autobiographical essays, The Disappointment Artist.
In conversation with host Tom Schaad, Lethem talks about how he got
started writing essays. He also discusses how the essay writing has
affected his outlook on the world, and helped him reexamine his
relationship with his family. A video version of the complete

The July episode of Fast Forward also features Colleen Cahill's
review of the WSFA Press anthology Future Washington, edited by
Ernest Lilly.

television series about the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and
horror. Fast Forward is produced by D.G. Productions through the
facilities of Arlington Independent Media in Arlington, Virginia.
