That's my dodo you're talking about . . .

At last check we needed only about ten more rooms to meet the minimum for
attrition.  That's assuming that a certain convention chair makes the
reservations for the guests of honor and that a couple of other people who
were planning to come do.  So I'm not going to relax until we hit that
minimum number.  Of course, I'd rather go well over it, as that always
makes us look good.

In other news, it is now definite that Capclave '06 is going to be the
third weekend of October, so feel free to start publicizing.
