I'm curious, why was it neccessary to announce this?  I hardly find it
earth-shattering, and, frankly resubscribed only for conveinience.

I regret doing this, but the immense volume of spam, viruses, worms,
bogus bounce messages, and other junk makes it necessary.  Please
