This thread is absolutely monstrous. It is intolerable. The above line is intentionally cruel and uncaring, in my opinion, to the point of evil. It is also foolish, since support for Keith will be clear, with perhaps only one dissenting vote. This particular contretemps really is *all one way*. I cannot imagine how a rational person could examine Keith's message, or Mike's reply to Lee, and decide that any lie had been told about anyone by anyone. Keith made essentially a "public service announcement" for the benefit of WSFAns who might want to deal with Lee electronically. Mike gave an example, in an obviously humorous way, of how it might have been inconvenient to not know the Lee was not on the list. KL> On First Friday, I'm going to call for a vote of confidence: Does Although I believe that no such vote is needed (any more than that Mike Walsh needs to reconsider his list activity---he's the best thing here), what the hell, maybe it should go ahead. Maybe Lee should see the result. Maybe she should reflect on the way *she* is regarded within WSFA, the way she relates to other people, and what kind of help she can seek to diminish her suffering or to gain some peace. It is NO help to her to pretend that this attack is reasonable disagreement or difference in point of view, that we don't feel embarrassed for her, that we don't feel uneasy about what she'll do next, or that things are essentially normal. It's not good for WSFA either: pretty soon Keith won't be the only one who feels unwelcome. I've been pretty harsh here, but I don't see any other way. -- =========================================================== Walter A.
