I realize that Bill and I are merely lurkers at WSFA but do you really think this is that important. A team from my work place just got back from New Orleans where we are involved in a project to provide 350,000 meals a day in 7 parishes at 21 different locations. This food is being provided to the people and workers down there that have no food to eat. There are many more things in this world to get riled up about than egos and personalities. I have trouble understanding all of this hostility towards each other. You all have something in common YOU LOVE SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY AND CONVENTIONS. Get a grip!!!! You could be standing in a the middle of a bunch of sticks that used to be your home with everything that you once held dear gone and no food, and no clean water to drink. Your loved ones could be dead or spread to the four winds. Your pets dead or gone, your books soggy and unreadable. Do you really think this discussion would be going on if that were the case. We were the lucky ones and it is something that everyone should remember. I am certain that this has been building for a long time but it seems no one wanted to do anything about it-just like the levee?s in New Orleans. I can only think that you all need to grow up and get a grip!!!!! With the world in the mess it is today there are more constructive things to do than bicker over things that have been said. This is supposed to be fun not a depressing negative experience. I suggest you all take a long hard look at how all of you are acting you might just find an answer. I will now get off of my soap box.
