Well, we must *ALL* remember that, then.  That's not what has
happened, in my opinion.

I guess it depends on whether you think truth and reconciliation
commissions are a good idea.  I've told a lot of comforting lies,
and swept whole plowed fields under the rug, and I don't think
that stuff works well or long.

I feel that she should not capriciously exercise her social power
within the club in a way that hurts [the feelings or reputation
of] another member, and that that does create a very unhealthy
state within the club.  It's really her position and actions,
not her presence. but I'm pretty sure that's what you meant.
