One thing to keep in mind about growing the convention, even in small
increments, is hotel function space. WIth the exception ofthe Maryland
Ballroom (that the hotel rented out for a wedding and proably made them
a boatload of money) we had pretty much all the function space. We are
committed to the Hilton next year. I hope they'll want us back for
years afterwards. (& the area around the hotel is great, sooooo many
restuarants.)

Anyway, the Waldrop GoH event was packed. Many other panels in the
Counsel room were almost as packed. As con problems go, this is a good
one to gnaw on.
