They used to be called The Loft Bed Store. They changed the name when they
were selling as much or more other kinds of furniture.
I've had one of their platform beds since about 1982 and it still works and
looks as good today as it did when it was delivered. It also moves easily,
as it breaks down into four pieces (I had them make a split pedestal for a
few extra bucks...they normally only did that for King beds and mine's a
Queen...and it was good I did as the place I was living had a narrow stair
and it wouldn't go up in one piece).
I also suggested a mod to the bookcase headboard I bought from them about 8
years later to go with it...an extra shelf on top so there was an enclosed
space for a clock radio, glasses, etc. to keep them from falling down
behind. It's now a standard part of that design. ;-)
When I went back in for a replacement mattress many years later, they
quickly pulled out my original paperwork from the filing cabinet and had
the specs in minutes. Besides making great quality stuff that lasts and
looks good, and being competent, they are also friendly and helpful and
open to suggestions for customization at very reasonable prices. They
don't mass produce, they build to order. If you need their stuff and can
afford it, you can't go wrong with them in my experience.
