You might want to consider PVC pipe rather than dowels for a framework...it's probably strong enough, fairly cheap, and light. One other idea...since all the purses I saw at Capclave had straps, do you really need shelves? Why not a "purse tree"? -- Mike B. -- But if you don't like crottled greeps what did you order them for?
