I haven't eyeballed the things, but it sounds like you could make them more durable by using plywood or fibreboard instead of paper for the backing. How big are they (and you)? I did a couple of 4' high book cases for Melissa Williams once, with fibreboard backing, and had no trouble assembling and moving them single handed. -- Dick Eney
