Revolting Sheep
Meanwhile, back at the pasture...

"Return to out battering ram?" He said, sheepishly. "How will that make it
so that us sheep may safely graze?"

"So...ewe think that lying down with the lion(1) and the lamb will lead to
greener pastures? Ewe're willing to put your faith in the shepherd and that
mangy dog that's always barking at us? Well, you may call yourself sheep and
be proud of it, but I'm mutton, through and through. It's been said that If
'An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a
sheep.'"

"Baaah. You're no lion." Replied the sheep. "Stop bleating your own horn
already. "Without a shepherd, sheep are not a flock."

"Could we get back to lying down with a lion part?" Cooed a Ewe in the back.

"Well, it's true that 'there was never a scabby sheep in a flock that didn't
like to have a comrade.'" Piped in the aged and affable Paddy. "I don't
think that was supposed to mean comrade in arms though."

"Sheepdip. You old fart. I say, cry havoc and loose the sheep of war!"

"All this talk of battering rams and fighting makes me think we should
beware of false prophets which come to you us sheep's clothing, but inwardly
they are ravening wolves." Petitioned Paddy pedantically.

The French word 'mouton', source of the English word 'mutton', can also
mean 'battering ram'.
