I'm not sure. All joking aside, she apparently did a lot of research. I suspect that at least some of the fundamentalists will throw fits, mainly becuse Rice is Catholic, and thus not a 'real' christian. Never mind that one of the major principles of christianity is the concept of redemption.

I don't doubt her sincerity, her good intentions, and faith.

And, on the plus side, if this means that she quits writing bad vampire novels, we all win!
