He was handing it out in printed for at the First Friday meeting. Anyone
who noticed him handing them out and wanted a copy got one. He put the
pile by the newsletters (next to the stairs up from the basement) for
anyone else to take. I didn't get any impression at all that there was any
limitation on who they were offered to. If you ask him, he could probably
e-mail the file to you or get you a copy at a future meeting...or I can
e-mail you the scanned and OCR'd version. I hear there may be a small typo
or two (like "l" for "!"), but the content is clear enough.

Well, there *is* a route that will keep you off the beltway...but it could
take longer. Rt 15 to the White's Ferry turnoff, White's Ferry across the
river, 107 to Rt 22 east. That will eventually bring you in through
Rockville, and put you on Vier's Mill down to Randolph Road...go east on
Randolph. If you stay on it long enough, you'll eventually cross Rt 1 and
shortly thereafter, Kennelworth...go right down to Crescent. I've used the
part of that route from Rockville (I start out on Montrose though) and it's
not bad...especially if the beltway is all backed up due to accidents or
whatever.
A longer option, though probably just as fast, is 15 to Frederick, I-70
east to 29, I-95 or the BW Parkway south to the College park/Greenbelt
vicinity.
You could also cut across inside the beltway by coming across at the
American Legion bridge, and get off on the Clara Barton (first exit) and
take that in to Cabin John, go down to Goldsborough and take that into
Bethesda, then use the East-West Highway to get over to College Park, and
then University to Greenbelt Road.
Maybe the beltway isn't so bad? ;-)
