If it was from an address that I don't know, and it didn't contain
your name on the From: line, then it would have been automatically
discarded. I apologize for the necessity of this, but it's the only
way to keep spam off this list.

Basically, an email will be accepted if it contains any of the
following, in any order or combination, in any mixture of upper
or lowercase, anywhere on the From: line:

Hand Sally
Hand, Sally
hand-sally at dol.gov
Sally C. Hand
Sally Hand
sallyhand at excite.com

If your email did contain one of those on the From: line, but was in
HTML, it wouldn't have gone to the list, but would have gone to me.
However, I haven't seen any email from you in over a year.

Please email me your AOL address, since I don't have it.
You can email it to me from your Excite address, or you can
email it to me on my current disposable address (available
at http://keithlynch.net/email.html) from any email address.

Despite what Ted said, it's not difficult to turn off HTML when
sending from AOL. See http://www.expita.com/nomime.html for
instructions on how to do this. Or ask Drew Bittner or Mark
Fischer, both of whom regularly post to this list from AOL.

Or you could simply post from your Excite address, as you
just did.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. But it's the
only way I know of to keep this list free of spam and viruses.
