If this is an official communication medium of the club, the membership was
to be informed when?   Elspeth's email was the first I heard of  it.

For what it's worth, I see no problem with simply continuing things the way
they are, as long as Keith is willing to do this.  Thank you, Keith, even  if
I do have to jump through an extra hoop or two.

I belong to a couple of Yahoo! groups with low mail volumes, and they're
annoying to deal with.  The digest function is worthless for high-volume  lists.
It truncates.  Topica is even worse.
