Since I'm going to be at SMOFcon rather than First Friday, here's the update:

We have half a table at Philcon, sharing with the Japan Worldcon.  Since
Barry (or have we switched over to Cathy?) isn't going to be there he has
made arrangements for others to handle promotion there.  NOTE: someone
please remember to bring the WSFA dodos -- the fabric ones folks -- and
remind me and I think Michael to bring the ones that we have from publicity
elsewhere.

Michael Walsh is GOH liaison, and chatting with the GOH we want.

The committee positions still to be filled that I can recall are:

Programming - for this I'd like to have several people working together, at
least one of whom has handled the technicality's of programming and one of
our newer folks.  (I have some program ideas . . . )

Town Square -- since Lee is probobly running another convention around this
time we need people to do this.  Again, it can be two people, one focusing
on food and beverage and the other on decorations, games, working with
programming to have koffeeclatches and other events, neat stuff to do,
maybe working with facilities to bring in comfy chairs, etc.

Yes, we have a facilities person.  At some point I'll manage to get her to
a meeting; she often works Friday nights.

She and I need to talk with the Hilton about firming up our space.

Have to run, and will see you all on Third Friday.
