I would presume that they have a "presense" in those states, and so are
subject to sales tax when doing business in them, same as if you bought
from a storefront.  They are there, the customer is there, no interstate
commerce takes place (though the feds have created some precedents that
might be used to dispute that...) and the state laws apply.  No problem.
