I have two phone calls on Mike's answering machine, one left when I wasn't
certain that it was his and the second when I was.  The latter said that
he's made a serious mistake and would he please read and act on my email as
soon as possible.

That will contain a retraction from him plus some basic information.  Ted,
being blunt since I don't have time, you don't have the best of
reputations.  Will you give me a couple of hours to write something up, me
to send it to you, and then post it for me?
