That copy of the archives hasn't been updated since I resigned as
webmaster, a month ago.

At the moment, they're completely up to date.  (Well, okay, they will
be one message behind once I finish posting this message.)

Yes, there's lots of good stuff there.  Especially in the friendlier
threads.  Those are, of course, in the vast majority.  There have been
only about a dozen truly malicious messages out of the 10,697 messages
that have been posted to the list since it started nearly four years ago.

The malice is so senseless and has so little connection with reality
that I think only a doctor could answer that.
