No problem...about memoirs in general, or pretty much anyone's memories, I
agree. Unlike Keith, I'm not good at remembering figures such as
dates.  I'm better at "before" or "after" than absolutes.  I can often work
the date out eventually by tracking what happened before or after until I
get to a date I do know...or can look up...though.

Thanks.  I'm not in that business like you are, so I don't keep track of
who bought whom the way I have with DEC->Compaq->HP.
