I'd say she's a mundane jerk who's starting to see the light.  I'm just
surprised she didn't toss in a "really, some of my best friends are Sci-Fi
nerds" along with the "amazingly, not all SF is total garbage"
stuff.  Maybe she'll come back to the ghetto for another hit sometime.
