The previous cat we had, Stoney, went blind from glaucoma, and spent the
final few years of his life blind, and had to have an eye removed due to
the cancer that eventually won. Cat's vision is not quite the same as
ours, and they adapt better than we do to blindness.

People on my Live Journal friend's list say this was an especially good
ConFusion. Maybe next year, since I'm not going to Worldcon, I'll take a
trip up there instead. --Eva Whitley
