IMHO, the most Wrong GoH choices this century have been: Stephen Youll in = 2001 (way, way too soon), Kelly Freas in 2003 (previously GoH in 1982) and = Michael Whelan coming in 2007 (previously GoH in 1998) That said, could better choices have been made with past Worldcon GoHs? = Sure. But overall, the choices made by the committes are ok. But that = could be said of most skiffy cons anyway. mjw "Our youth and possibility may be stripped from us, but our failure can = remain shining and constant forever." * Barry Malzberg (Galaxies, 1975)
