All of this public/private business is entirely under the control of the
list moderator.  I am on several Yahoo lists which aren't publicly
accessible.  If the WSFA-forum list is publicly accessible, that is the
decision (or the incompetence) of the list's official "owner" or
moderator.  Would that be Ernest?
